The verdict is in…

…and we have a new direction here at Rhino Articles.

First I would like to thank Don Dewsnap and Jodi Reichenberger who helped nudge us in the right direction with this and another endeavor.

In fact Rhino Articles’ theme came from a certain mentality we have and I personally feel that the new “unifying theme,” as Don refers to it, fits right in with the Rhino “Damn the Torpedoes” spirit.

So what is this unifying theme? People are the unifying theme. Articles that have to do with the issues and concerns that people have in their daily life.

If you take a look at the categories you will see some have been deleted already. More may be deleted over time. However, if you think of a category that fits into our theme, please let us know. A few new things to take note of are the fact that we no longer accept business, technology or Internet Marketing related articles. I mention these only because they make up a great deal of the articles submitted to us.

We have adjusted our Submission Guidelines and Terms of Service to reflect a more restrictive stance on the quality of articles we will allow. Of important note is that any article less than 500 words is no longer allowed at all. Spelling and grammatical errors that stick out immediately will also receive the axe.

On another note, we will start blocking IP addresses when we see an abundance of junk articles coming from a specific author or geographic region, so please be cautious when using third-party submission services.

On a more positive and final note, I would also like to welcome Don Dewsnap as our featured writer.
