Good day everyone,

Just dropping this little update to let you know we have made a drastic cleanup of Rhino Articles.

Old articles that do not fit into our new theme of “People” have finally all been deleted. As some may have found out, we have become much more picky about the quality of articles we accept. “Why are we making these changes?”, you ask. It is simple, to get more traffic.

For those of you subscribed to WebProNews, you will see an interesting discussion with the folks at Google and they briefly talk about the relevency of directories and how most are junk and take any old content. Reading between the lines, it looks like they may be penalizing directories that do not have higher standards. So in a nut shell, the days of wild west, fly by night directories is over.

However we must be doing something right as our traffic this last month has increased by over 32% and these are not just random numbers. We use Google analytics to track our website traffic and there are some more stats that made use stand up and realize the changes we have been making are actually working like increased unique visitors as well as returned visitors.

So what does all this mean to you, well it is simple as well, more traffic for your articles and better search engine ranking, which means more traffic. In fact, we are so proud of our members and the articles we have been accepting recently that I am going to start sharing our number and stats with you, the members, once a month.

The one big thing we are going to really push over the next few months is the use of our RSS and Ezine notification feature so that we get more website and blog owners publishing your articles. To get this started, I would like each member to do the following:

-Find a subject they are interested in at Rhino Articles.

-Then subscribe to that category and apply for Ezine notification.

-Once you receive notification, I would like you to go to Squidoo.com and create a lens on that topic using one of our articles.

To give you some incentive, we are offering to give you a FREE copy of “Free Traffic for Broke Marketers“. All you need to do is create the lens, use an article from our directory on the lens and email us, at admin@rhinoarticles.com, the address of the lens. Once received and verified, we will send you a download link and will even comment and socially bookmark it at 5 bookmarking sites like Digg and Stumbleupon. If we really like the squidoo lens, we may even mention it our next update.
