Break Out Of Your Cocoon by Jennifer Lavoie

We’ve all heard about “cocooning”, which sociologists have been monitoring very carefully since the explosion of the Web. Cocooning is the process of social isolation where a society withdraws from physical interaction with each other. This “hermit-like” behavior can lead to the decline of many cultural and social traditions. Cocooning also affects the way we interact with other when do finally leave the house and meet face to face.

How to Prepare For a Local Emergency by TrBrian Jenkins

Author: Brian Jenkins

Emergencies can range from severe weather to a terrorist attack. Interestingly enough, most emergencies require the same basic steps to get you and your family through them safely. The best way to remain safe is to take steps early so that you and your family are prepared in the event of an emergency. The first step in prevention is in knowing the danger. Depending on the area of the country in which you live, you may be at risk of flooding, tornadoes or hurricanes. Contact your local fire department or Red Cross office to find out if your town has any sort of emergency communication system.

The Perfect Desktop Icon by Chris Kennelly

People put as much effort into customizing their computer desktops as they do into decorating the tops of their desks.

I have personally witnessed friends spending hours looking for the perfect desktop icon which refers to some show or other that they used to watch in their childhood in the 70s. No matter how obscure the desktop icon, someone somewhere has at the very least a pirate version of it, often as part of a theme.

There are so many desktop icons floating around, that the number will probably never be counted, I can tell you.

Can You Really Use Articles To Build Your List? by Alfons Grendel

Getting customers in your site should always be ranked as high as the importance of the quality and the excellence of the product and the services you provide. They should go hand in hand in providing your customers the satisfaction they get in exchange for the money they have paid for them. Customer service should as well be as fantastic so that the customers are provided with the same satisfaction.
